This course provides introductory knowledge on how to write a resume as well as basic interview skills to help accelerate your job search.
Topics include:
Resume Writing - a step by step session on how to make the perfect resume.
Steps:
- Pick a format
- Adding basic contact information
- Including work experience
- Considering your volunteer work and the impact it can have on finding a job
- Education overview
- Top it off with some skills and interests
- Writing an effective summary statement
- Tailoring your resume to the job
Basic Interview Skills - the skills you need in a job interview.
