This course provides introductory knowledge on how to write a resume as well as basic interview skills to help accelerate your job search.

Topics include:

Resume Writing - a step by step session on how to make the perfect resume.

Steps:

  • Pick a format
  • Adding basic contact information
  • Including work experience
  • Considering your volunteer work and the impact it can have on finding a job
  • Education overview
  • Top it off with some skills and interests
  • Writing an effective summary statement
  • Tailoring your resume to the job

Basic Interview Skills - the skills you need in a job interview.
