Planning for the Next Generation of Leaders - an intro to succession planning

Participants will be introduced to the tools and systems that will allow business owners, general managers, senior business leaders and HR professionals to implement effective succession planning at all levels of their organization.

The workshops will provide practical information and advice on:

• the value of succession planning and how succession planning is much more than simple replacement plans
•  what leadership competencies are, how to complete a gap assessment and how to build needed competencies
• the difference between performance and potential and an appreciation for the art and science of assessing potential
• how to have career conversations with employees and provide guidance in creating career development plans
• how to integrate the elements of succession planning and talent management into everyday practices
